PromOTe Occupational Therapy is developed by Occupational Therapists, Ashay and Asmita Mudholkar (husband and wife team). They both graduated from the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mumbai, India with a Bachelors in Occupational Therapy in 2007.
Asmita completed her Master’s in OT from the State University of New York at Buffalo and Ashay completed his MBA in Health and Hospital Administration from Pune, India. They both got married in 2011 and moved to Australia in early 2012.
Ashay Mudholkar (Ash)
Ashay is the principal OT of PromOTe OT. He services Central Highlands region, Longreach and surroundings.
He enjoys working with kids and adults alike and has a keen interest in Paediatrics and early intervention.
Ashay has worked with kids of all ages. He has experience of working with children with difficulties with sensory processing, social skills, play, attention, feeding, self-care, fine and gross motor skills, handwriting, and organisation. His particular interest is working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. He thoroughly enjoys working with the kids and making a positive contribution to their ongoing development.
Ashay is dedicated to furthering professional development through networking and attending seminars and workshops.
Outside work Ash enjoys trekking, cooking and cricket.
